Air pollution not only causes asthma; bronchitis, it causes increased risks for crops and fruits. It harms metal and concrete structures. Beauty of the Taj Mahal has been marred by a chemical plant near Agra. Water pollution is caused by toxic wastes substances, which are extremely harmful for human health. Pollution affects rain, rivers, lakes, oceans and water beneath the earth surface. Acute poisoning causes death for sea-life. Polluted water causes typhoid, cholera and dysentery.
Soil pollution causes damage to land fertility. Fertility of land is a natural quality that was created over million of years. Noise is another kind of pollution which causes a great harm to human life. Mechanical life in urban areas of the world and misuse of loudspeakers in Pakistan have spoiled quietness and peaceful environment of our cities and villages. It is a great hazard for human life.
